At the end of May for the Memorial Day weekend, my friends and I decided to hit the road for a road trip until the sin city I named Las Vegas!

 

To go there my friend Clément and I rented a car in the rental car company: Firefly. We actually get lucky because we get a Chevrolet Camaro, the same than the Transformer movie! The two of us drove until Irvine in Orange County, just at the south of Los Angeles. In Irvine we joined a friend, which is actually studying in the INSEEC Group and doing his academicals semester in UCI (University of California Irvine).

 

Then, all together we went to Las Vegas! The road has been terribly long; indeed we get stuck in the traffic for couple of hours… But anyway we finally arrived in Las Vegas!!! We leave our suits in the hotel and we directly go on The Las Vegas Strip! We visited the famous Casinos like the Bellagio, the Venetian, the Paris, the New York-New York, and lot of other Casinos where the luckiest of us won money and the unluckiest lose some… We have also been in the Stratosphere! The Stratosphere is a Hotel & Casino resort, which get a particularity. Indeed this tower located at the end of the strip get attractions on the top at 1,149 ft. with different totally insane rides! But anyway if you’re not ready for that you can always enjoy the craziest view on Vegas!

 

The tomorrow morning, when we understood why we call Vegas “the sin city” we decided to leave to our next destination: The Bryce Canyon National Park. We drove during something like 4 hours. We were tired but motivated to see one of this amazing park that we have heard so much. When we arrived at destination that was as amazing that I expected but in well better! This place is just incredible you feel like, in an other planet, because that’s the first time that you see something like that! We made a long walk through those red canyons and that was really impressive. After this long walk we took the car and drove until Williams, a city close to the Great Canyon.

 

We spent the night in this little town where we did a beer tasting in a bar. After that we decided to try different bars where we met different nice people with which we enjoyed the night. The tomorrow morning we jumped in the Camaro to the Great Canyon. Finally, this moment that we expected so much, this famous park that we have heard about for many years… When we discovered it I remember that we were all surprised by his size. It was so big and so deep that was just incredible. As in the Bryce Canyon we did a walk, a Great walk for the Great Canyon. After that tiresome walk we took the car to come back in Irvine where we spent the night and drop off our friend.

 

And finally, the next day we hit the road to San Francisco with the head full of memories!
